Norge forge is the alpha and the omega.
In this design for a gourmet Italian Pastry Cafe, it wanted to play on the double entendre of the image of a Knight in a tea cup as well as the meaning of the tarot card. The Knight of Cups cafe was opening in a town called Salem, Ma which is known for its witches, psychics, and ghosts. I enjoyed the concept behind the meaning of the knight of cups card in the tarot and wanted to make it central to the theme of the cafe's design. "Sit back and smell the flowers" it reminds us of this very important fact that gets lost in our rat race. What better place to do it in than a cozy whimsical space over a cup of herbal tea and a cannoli while playing checkers or chess with your best friend.
